1970年代中期から後半頃のフレンチジーンズをベースに作成されています。

フレンチジーンズとは、当時日本で普及していた呼び方で、フランスから用いられたジーンズのことを呼ぶわけではありません。フレアジーンズが流行していた当時、よりデザイン性の高いものとして各国から登場したバギーシルエットのものを総称していた背景があります。

シルエットはヒップ周りが特徴的。角度を持たせたバックポケットや、ヒップラインが高くなるパターンが、クラシカルなテイストになっています。また、裾にかけた広がりがイージーさを増し、あなたの生活をアクティブにします。

容易に手を入れることのできるスラッシュポケットは軽快に物の出し入れが可能。フロントのファスナーはタロン社製。フロントのトップボタンをドットボタンにしているので脱ぎ履きも容易です。

生地は12.5oz。履きこんだ時の経年変化は単調に色落ちしていく様で当時の雰囲気を再現。ノンウォッシュではなく、ノリを落として程よく洗いこんでいるので、サイズの縮みもなく、すぐ馴染むのが魅力。バックポケットにつく綿レーヨンのネームも、経年変化を楽しむことができます。

Created based on French jeans from the mid to late 1970s.

French jeans is a term that was popular in Japan at the time and does not refer to jeans used from France. At the time when flared jeans were in vogue, the term was used to refer to the baggy silhouettes that appeared from various countries as a more design-oriented alternative.

The silhouette is distinctive around the hips. The angled back pockets and the pattern with a high hip line give it a classical taste. The widening towards the hem also adds ease and makes your life more active.

Easily accessible slash pockets allow you to get things in and out with ease. The front zipper is made by Talon. Dotted front top button for easy on/off.

The fabric is 12.5oz, and the monotonous colour fades as they age, recreating the atmosphere of those days. The fabric is not non-washed, but rather washed to a good degree with the nori removed, so there is no shrinkage in size, and it is easy to get used to it. The cotton rayon name on the back pocket can also be enjoyed as it ages.
